I’m Clare, founder of J’adore my events and have had the pleasure and honour of assisting with over 300 weddings and events to date.
With over a decade of experience in planning, creating, hosting and running weddings and events in the U.K., France and the Caribbean, you can rely on me to make the planning process completely stress-free and as your personal planner I am always your first point of contact and will be on hand from beginning to end to assist you for your memorable occasion.
Throughout my career I have always been involved in planning and design. In the early 2000’s I oversaw the design, development and management of one of the U.K.’s first completely accessible hotels for people with disabilities. It was a challenging project but one that cemented my passion for operational planning.
I took this passion further when I was fortunate enough to move to France in 2006 where we bought a dilapidated old cognac distillery in Charente, France. We spent two years completely renovating, building and creating a fantastic wedding venue ‘Bellevue’ which remained successful for many years. We literally started the trend in France of the wedding weekend and in doing so launched many a wedding suppliers’ careers!
We have forged strong ties to this area of France and continue to plan weddings in this area and know all the Chateaux and unique wedding venues, all the wedding suppliers and we can truly deliver an outstanding celebration for you.
Since leaving France we are now based in the North West of the U.K. and Antigua in the Caribbean, where we host weddings in our own venue right next to the Caribbean Sea.
When I am not planning, I enjoy walking my Labrador Rex on the beach here in the U.K., sampling champagne and wine (well someone has got to!) and swimming in warm waters in Antigua.
